2004 Holiday Update: Sol Club

The beach in 2004 was just as good as 2002 and still cleaned every day. We did have one day with a plague of jellyfish which was a new experience but they didn’t sting and I actually swam in the shoal. We could have always moved to the other beach.

The hotel grounds were also well looked after with gardeners out every morning before the guests got up.

This is the baby pool where the toddlers and their parents were. The large pool is in the background.

Each day local traders set up stalls in the shade. Wooden objects, clothing and a strange selection of revolutionary texts were available. The latter might have been interesting if I read Spanish..
