This little site is about our holidays in 2002 and 2004 in the resort of Cayo Coco. Cayo Coco is an island off the north coast of Cuba.

 

Why should I publish a web site?

 

Before we went to Cuba (from England) I tried to find out some simple facts about the place– what the electricity supply was, whether or not I could find a cash machine, how much excursions cost, could we buy suntan lotion… the sort of things that I like to know when planning our family holiday.

 

Yes– I bought ‘The Rough Guide’ and Fodor’s Guide but the web seemed strangely silent then– although I’ve found stuff since!

 

Gathering this information was a complete pain and, if it were not for a couple of very helpful email correspondents, I would have not been able to discover even a few answers.

 

So– whilst I was there I made notes of all the little things that I thought I would have liked to know before I went– and now they are on this site!
